We are frequent travellers and pregnant, so it is not surprising that we are drawn out into the world again now that the initial excitement has subsided. Of course not on an adventure trip (on our last trip we polar bears in the wild observed), but this time a little quieter. Since we still can't do anything with days of wellness and too quiet tends to make us fidgety, we decided to go on a road trip: Our babymoon takes us right across Italy and lets us stop off at many beautiful places.
Babymoon in Italy Experiences
We lie relaxed on our mattress and enjoy the silence of the morning. The thousand bridges of Venice are already behind us, the rest of Bella Italia is still ahead of us. We have no fixed schedule, we roll along the coastal road, walk by the sea and stop wherever we like. Vacation. Freedom. Life. Contentedly, we snuggle up to each other and let the silence of the night slowly fade away. It is still a life for two. A few names run through my head and my hand automatically goes to my stomach: No, actually there are already three of us. Pock, pock, you confirm quietly. We smile and feel you together. Pock. Pock.
