Arch of Triumph Jerash History
The triumphal arch of Jerash in Jordan is dated to 130 AD. The ancient building has three gates and was located outside the ancient city at the time. It was built in honor of Emperor Hadrian and is therefore also called Hadrian's Arch. Since its restoration in 2008, the massive Roman archway has once again been restored to its former glory.
Jerash was known as the Roman city of Gerasa. Many historical buildings are well preserved, as some parts of the Roman city were buried in the desert sand for centuries. In addition to Hadrian's Arch, a variety of Sights and attractions in Jerash Jordan admire.
